Ethics at UC Davis

University of California Ethics Training

An important component of the University of California ethics program is ethics awareness training. All University of California employees are required to complete the UC Ethics Briefing, which is available as an on-line course and as an in-person presentation. At UC Davis, the UC Ethics Briefing is being rolled out to all employees--faculty and staff--on January 16, 2007. The completion deadline is March 16, 2007.

On-Line Briefing

Every UC Davis employee has been assigned a personalized web link to access the on-line UC Ethics Briefing. This personalized link was provided in an e-mail from UC Office of the President on January 16, 2007. If you do not have your personalized link, or if you need assistance accessing the on-line course, please e-mail ethics@ucdavis.edu for assistance.

In-Person Briefing

For employees who do not have computer access, or who would prefer to attend an in-person presentation, UC Davis Staff Development & Professional Services (SD&PS) is offering in-person briefings. If you would like to attend an in-person presentation, view the course dates and times on the SD&PS website. If you would like to request that a presentation be provided for the employees in your department, please e-mail ethics@ucdavis.edu with your request.
